About the author

Frederic Di Monte has been active in international commercial roles in the raw materials industry since more than 10 years, notably within Rio Tinto. One day he was given the challenge to introduce in three months a new product and way to produce in a market his company had no experience about. He loved it so much that he decided to refocus his career path on accelerating and leading the entry into new markets or ways to do business. He then joined the Kellogg School of Management and WHU for an intense two years Executive MBA. At the same time, he broadened his change management, business development and innovation experience by realizing freelance projects with SpecialChem, a business development consulting company specialized in chemicals, Lanxess spcecialty chemicals in Germany where he introduced in less than 2 months a new CRM module to track business opportunities and at Novozymes biotech company in Denmark where he assessed the market potential of a new molecule for bioplastics. He finally moved to Hamburg to take over the leadership of an innovation program for EIMEA at the American adhesive company HB Fuller with the mandate to introduce a game-changing adhesive technology.
